Throughout his storied career at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease at the National Institute of Health, Dr. Anthony Fauci has been the Nation’s voice of leadership and guidance on the prevention, diagnoses, and treatment of infectious diseases. He has advised six presidents on viral infections including HIV/AIDS, Ebola, and Zika, as well as many other domestic and global health issues. Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Dr. Fauci has kept the public informed about the progress and prognosis of the virus and has become a trusted advisor to the American people.
